Led by Bianca Bolton's first place finish, the Misericordia University women's cross country team had six runners in the top nine spots to open the season with a win at the Misericordia Invitational.

As a competitor, Chris Wadas led the Misericordia men's cross country team to four consecutive conference championships.

Six Misericordia University athletic teams are set begin their fall schedule Friday August 29 and four of those teams will play host in the fall season's opening weekend.

The U.S. Track and Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association named the Misericordia men's and women's cross-country teams 2013 Division III Cross Country All-Academic Teams.
