The Misericordia University women's swim team is in third place after the third day of competition at the MAC Championships, Saturday in York.Marissa Gombosi finished second in the 100 back (100.61 )while Dani Blass was second in the 400 IM (4:41.21). Morgan Hanadel finished fifth in the 200 free while Rachel Finnegan and Kerri Ciriello were sixth and ninth, respectively. Hanadel set a school record (1:57.17) in the preliminaries.Taylor Grenier was eighth in the 100 fly (1:01.66) and Finnegan was ninth in the 100 back (1:02.45).Hanadel, Kelsey Lyter, Grenier and Finnegan were third in the 200 free relay (1:40.93).Grenier was 13th in the 100 back while Allison McCallister was 16th in the 100 breaststroke.Danielle Largmann was 14th in the 400 IM and 16th in the 100 back.Misericordia has 277 points and trails only Messiah and Widener in the 12-team field heading into the final day.
